Small Business Saturday
Community. Community is a word; that if you’ve turned on your television in the past three weeks, has been repeatedly used. As a community, we experienced the aftermath of Superstorm Hurricane Sandy, which devastated our neighboring New York City, adding fuel to an already flaming fire of an election both on the national and local scale.
There are several things that I think of when I think of “community” but I will argue that nothing is more powerful than the individuals and the businesses they run that helps to make a community have a distinct personality.
Take our city of Boston for example: each neighborhood so distinct. Each has their own personality and their own unique offerings into commerce, culture and their respective communities.
There is really only one way to uphold a neighborhood’s personality and that is to show support for the community.
You can show your support for your communities on Saturday November 24th by saving your holiday dollars on Black Friday and spending them on Small Business Saturday. In honor of this holiday, Savas Studios is opening their doors to a roll-down sale with merchandise 50% off beginning at 10 A.M. and sales running till close.
